Preparing to be sick is the oddest thing. I know that I will be sick in about 7 hours, and I am gearing up for it. I forgot my plan, but luckily I have my trusty memory aid: my blog! I can go back and find that post... which is why I blogged it in the first place.
Speaking of which, I just remembered (after posting this half an hour ago), that I am supposed to record what I do today.
So...
4:10 - 440 mg naproxen sodium (I had decided on 4:00, but I forgot... noticing a theme here?)
5:10 - shot
5:45 - 1000 mg acetaminophen
7:00 - headache hit, felt tired
9:00 - felt crappy, hot and cold, could not get the temperature right
10:00 - 1000 mg acetaminophen, starting to get sore muscles
10:15 - bed
I woke up a few times during the night, tired but sort of an insomnia feeling. Like I could not sleep. But I was able to make myself go back to sleep.
I should have taken naproxen during the night, especially after 4:00 am, but I did not. I did not want to sit up and drink that cold water. When I finally got up, at 7:30, I felt pretty lousy. Still do, although I took 220 mg naproxen--it has not kicked in yet.
I have muscle pain in my arms and legs, and I feel weak. Kind of tired but mostly weak. Heavy flu head, kind of nauseated and dizzy. I would rate my overall sickly feeling an 8. I think I will feel better when the naproxen kicks in. (And if it does not kick in soon, I will take more!)
I am calling this a success. No chills. No severe pain. No fever.
8:45 am - Took 220 mg more of naproxen sodium. Feeling worse.
9:30 am - Felt better.
I was tired all morning. After a long nap, I felt much better.
