Good Days and Bad Days

I would not call yesterday an all-bad day, but it was an odd, not-my-best day. I had PT first thing in the morning, and I was totally off my game. My balance was terrible! And it has been so good. Then my right quad--the one that bothered me after the shot Saturday/Sunday--nearly cramped on an easy task. It felt bruised. My leg was sore for the rest of the day, but otherwise things got better from there.

Except when I went to the gynecologist and was officially diagnosed with a yeast infection. Sadly, I was happy to hear that, because I did not want yet another "Hm, can't find anything wrong" on my medical record. Not that it is my fault that many doctors do not care enough to get to the bottom of a problem... but it somehow gets thrown back on me, as if I must be making something up if they do not know what the problem might be.

Today I had a good day. One thing that has been nice about both days was the lack of pain. I had very little pain for the last two days--yea!

Oh, today I googled steroids and blurred vision. I found a bunch of other people who have had this happen. How can these eye doctors not have heard of this??? Finding that made me relieved but also annoyed to have my time wasted. I just received a hefty bill from the first ophthalmology visit. I am planning to call my insurance company to see why the neuro-ophth can bill me separately when a. he saw me for a 15-minute consult, and b. it should be a co-pay, not co-insurance!

So there.
